Nealon Family Biggest Loser Challenge

Are you feeling ready for summer?

Dreading getting into a bathing suit on Sagamore Beach?

Let's get fit together with the
Nealon Family Biggest Loser Contest!

You can do it and win a great prize at the end!

Starting Sunday, June 1st
and ending July 31st

Let's see how much weight we can lose as a family!

If you are interested, here is what you need to do:

Email Libby at ridgleys@verizon.net (please note that this email has changed)

You do NOT need to email me your weight, but we will keep track of weight lost.

I will email some tips, recipes, words of encouragement, and times to meet to walk.

Every week, we will have a new challenge like walk three times this week or keep a food journal for the week or add 2 more glasses of water a day to drink.

I have been working with a trainer and doing something similar and the results of the group have been great!

Who is going to be our biggest loser???

Set your TIVO - A Dream in Doubt

I want to let everyone know that a film I edited will be having its broadcast premiere on PBS in the coming weeks. It's called "A Dream in Doubt', and it is about the first post - 9/11 hate-crime murder. I worked on this in 2006. And the director started working on it back in 2003.

Check out the trailer:

It will be presented as a part of a series called Independent Lens - one of the few places on TV for independently produced documentaries. Individual PBS stations schedule the series at different times so you really do have to "check your local listings." The times are not always ideal so be sure to set your DVR if you have one. Here are some times for all you folks:

WGBX-44 - 05/18/2008, 10:00 PM and 05/25/2008, 9PM
WGBH -2 - 05/26/2008, 1 AM

WEDW (CT) - 05/20/2008, 10 PM
WEDU (FL) - 05/20/2008, 11 PM

Go to the website to find out more airtimes. I hope some of you can catch it.
Thanks - Jon

RELAY FOR LIFE

I am very proud to inform you that Allie will be walking, in Roberta’s honor, for Relay Life on May 30 – 31, 2008. Roberta has faced lymphoma with dignity and grace. Even through her toughest days she had a smile on her face and a positive outlook. She is an inspiration to us all and we couldn’t be prouder. For that reason and the love and support that Roberta has given to Allie throughout the years, she would love to walk this walk for her.
Allie and a group of her friends have formed a team called “The Great Giving Girls” and are trying to raise $7,500 for The American Cancer Society. We would be so incredibly grateful if you could help them reach their goal.

To donate please go to the following link (you may have to copy and paste it into your browser)

Lakeshore Addition/Party Pressure

Word on the street is Ralph and Liz are adding a pontoon boat over on Lakeshore Drive. I'm sure he will want to have some sort of family gathering to celebrate this new addition at some point this summer.

Welcome Lucy Petralia!

Hello - Matt, Camden and I are so happy to announce Lucille Ann Petralia - Lucy - joined our family at 2:43 a.m. on May 6th. She weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and measured 20.5 inches. Her dramatic entrance into the world (almost born in Matt's truck) makes us think we're in for some exciting years ahead!

We're all doing great. Lucy is a cute little peanut and I can't wait for you all to meet her. We'll send pictures soon.

Love, Kelley, Matt, Camden and Lucy.
