Matt and Callie - California Bound!

We will be leaving Wed (8/27) through Tuesday (9/2), hoping to stop in Chicago, Denver, and at the Grand Canyon!! I will be Matt's co-pilot, moving him out there where he will be moving in with a college friend. We are extremely excited for our trip and can't wait to take in all the amazing sites. It will be quite interesting since we have 3,291 miles to go, roughly 46 hours sitting in Matt's very nice little Honda Civic :) I plan on taking many many pictures and hope to get them up on Gramma's site very soon! Hope to see you all back in MA soon, that is if I come back, I hear it's hard to leave that place (just kidding). Wish us luck! Talk about a lot of sibling bonding time, I know Matt can't wait :)

Worcester Idols

On Saturday August 9th, we unfortunately missed the beach party but we did do something very exciting! We were at the DCU center in Worcester for a dance competition and that night was the Idols Live tour. We all ran outside and saw the Idols greeting the crowd. We got autographs from David Cook, David Archuleta, Carly Smithson, and Kristy Lee Cook. Here are some pictures of us, our dance friends, and the Idols.(leslie is squished in the back-left of the one with Kristy Lee Cook and I'm on the right of her.

Help Libby raise money and run a marathon!!!

I need everyone's support! I am running the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco in October. This event is a fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Here is where I NEED your help! I need to raise $1000 by August 1st in order to run. My total goal by October is to raise $4000. Team in Training is the organization that I am running with and it is the largest fundraising program bringing nearly 98 million dollars this past year alone directly to the research to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.
My training is going better than my fundraising and I will run 10 miles this Saturday. Please help my fundraising go as well as my running! Every donation is tax deductible and no donation is too small. Please send the word out to those family members that do not keep up with the blog and any friends and family who would like to support this important cause!
Send your check made out to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Please send to me at the Cape at 32 Ivy Lane, Chatham, MA 02633
Love you all!~ Lib

Update from Tom Click/Plea for Jeep Help

Hello,

I've attached an update picture of Ryan Click from May 22nd. He's doing great and keeps asking when his parents are going to take him to this "cape" place we are always telling him about. We're hoping to make our way down around the 4th of July weekend. I also wanted to chime in as well, and congradulate Liz and Ralph for pulling the trigger on the Lakeshore Drive ship of fun. I can't wait for the christening ceremony. I can see Ralph standing proud in his Captain outfit now... as we proudly watch Liz smash a bottle of Pinot over the bow.

On another note, I wanted to reach out to the Jeep owners in the family. It seems my '97 Wrangler has some corroded brake lines that need some attention. Does anyone have a mechanic we trust? According to my father-in-law, it's a pain in the neck job because we'd need a lift (which we don't have), but an easy one. Some mechanics could take advantage of a situation like this though, and considering the Jeep is not my first mode of transportation, I'm hoping to keep this a low-cost job. Do anyone have a good, trustworthy mechanic that will do a quick brakeline job without killing me?
